*Review Period:  All students must attend the Reivew Period for their exams.  Each day, students will report to    
review period and will release for lunch during that period. Lunches will be determined by the following:  
1st Lunch:  A Hall/D Building and Auxillary Gym          
2nd Lunch:  B Hall/C Hall            
Bells will ring at each lunch start and end time.            

EXAM EXEMPTION POLICY

1.  Guidelines apply to each class each semester

Grade

Absences
A No more than 3
B No more than 2
C No more than 1
D None
F No Exemption
  1. Student has not received an “F” for a nine weeks’ grade during that semester / year for the class.

  2. Student must attend at least 1 hour of a class period in order to qualify for exemption.

  3. Student has not been assigned Out of School Suspension or In School Suspension for the class being exempted.

  4. Two unexcused tardies to class will equal one absence for exam exemption purposes.

  5. Classes missed due to school sponsored activities approved by the administration will not count against the student’s attendance.

  6. Student cannot be exempt from state End-of-Course and VoCATS Tests

  7. Student may choose to take final exams in classes without End-of-Course tests, even if he / she is exempt.  If the exam grade benefits the student, it will count toward the final grade.  If not, the exam score will not affect the student’s grade.

Students with excessive absences (more than 7) must make at least a “C” on the exam and be passing the course to receive credit.
