(SVSM) is a cost-free program for rising juniors and
seniors. Selection is based on academic ability, science and
mathematics motivation and emotional maturity. Institute sites include
Appalachian State University, East Carolina University, North Carolina
Central University, UNC at Charlotte, UNC at Wilmington and Western
Carolina University. Sessions are offered in four week blocks: Session
I, June 21 - July 18 and Session II, June 28 – July 25. Application
forms are available in the counseling center and online at
http://www.summerventures.org. Completed forms must be submitted on
or before January 31, 2009.
